Celluma Pro led therapy

Celluma is a FDA-approved light therapy device that emits wavelengths of blue, red, and infrared light to treat many skin conditions with no pain, downtime, or side effects.

What is Celluma LED LIght Therapy?

Light energy emits from a light panel and absorbs into the surface of the skin to improve cellular health and function. The system emits three specific wavelengths that work in synergy to address specific skin concerns. For example, the blue light emits wavelengths to kill acne causing bacteria, decrease inflammation, and improve skin tone and texture. Additionally, the red and infrared light combats the signs of aging by enhancing your body’s ability to generate collagen and elastin.

Acne (Blue Light)

Assists in killing bacteria in the skin, reduces active acne, prevents breakouts, shrinks enlarged pores, helps to fight infection, is a great alternative to medication, has an anti-inflammatory effect on the skin. It is also an excellent treatment for those suffering with sensitive skin conditions such as Rosacea, Eczema and Psoriasis.

Anti-Aging (Red Light)

Softening of lines, folds and wrinkles; healthier circulation, increased moisture, plumping of the skin.

Toned and youthful skin surface with improved elasticity and skin texture. Activates collagen process restores natural luminosity and glow. Stimulates blood and lymphatic circulation.

Pain (Near-Infrared Light)

Red and near-infrared light therapy can benefit tissue from the upper epidermal layers to deep into the dermal layer.

Near infrared provides medical benefits that are clinically proven to penetrate deep below the surface layer of the skin to better target muscle and joint pain right where it starts. This gives people much needed pain relief from inflammation and injury.

FAQs

What is low-level-light therapy?

Low-level-light therapy or photobiomodulation is based on Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology and is the application of light energy to the body for therapeutic benefits. It promotes a natural photobiochemical reaction similar to the process of plant photosynthesis. The energy delivered by the LEDs has been shown to enhance cellular metabolism, accelerate the repair and replenishment of damaged skin cells, as well as stimulate the production of collagen

For what purpose is light therapy used?

Based on extensive research, low-level-light therapy devices have been cleared by the FDA, and shown to manage:

  • Mild to moderate acne vulgaris
  • Superficial, benign vascular and pigment lesions
  • Periorbital wrinkles and rhytides
  • Sub-optimal local blood flow and circulation
  • Minor muscle and joint aches
  • Minor muscle and joint pain
  • Pain and stiffness associated with arthritis
  • Minor arthritis or muscle spasms
  • Minor chronic neck and shoulder pain of a musculoskeletal origin

Are there any harmful side effects to low-level light therapy?

LED devices are considered extremely low risk when used as intended. Low-level-light therapy is based on light emitting diode (LED) technology developed for NASA-manned space flight experiments. In comparison to lasers, the patented LED technology generates negligible amounts of heat and is not considered a significant risk device.

Does Light therapy hurt?

No. Light therapy is non-invasive and is painless when used as intended.

Does light therapy utilize UV light?

No. Celluma utilizes a combination of blue, red, and near-infrared (not visible to the naked eye) light emitting diodes (LEDs) only.

How long does a Celluma session last?

30 minutes.

Will the results be seen straight away?

Following a Celluma LED Therapy treatment, there are some immediate visible changes in the skin, but most changes occur naturally over a series of treatments. Results may continue to improve up to 4 to 6 weeks after a course as LED phototherapy continues to stimulate the natural cellular processes to rejuvenate and improve the quality of the skin.

How many treatments are required?

LED light therapy is a cumulative rather than an aggressive approach which helps to build healthy skin. Although a course of treatments is recommended for optimal and lasting results (twice weekly for 6 weeks), a single session is an ideal “pick me up” to replenish vital hydration, restore radiance or simply to calm irritated skin.

Results of LED Phototherapy can be enhanced when used in combination with other skin treatments such as Microdermabrasion, Skin Peels, Facials and Body Treatments.
